FROM MY HEART TO YOURS

Something’s been on my heart.

I want to point you to real hope — not the kind that shifts with every headline, but the hope that is anchored in God’s unchanging promises.

Instead of chasing constantly changing news and speculation, we’re making a deliberate shift.

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
— Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV)

The absolute best way to redeem the time right now is to devote this platform more fully to teaching God’s Word, helping you view current events through a biblical worldview, sharing practical preparedness tips grounded in Scripture, proclaiming the hope of Christ’s soon return, and standing with Israel from a biblical perspective.

We’re not abandoning preparedness. We’re anchoring it in something eternal.

Our Focus

At the very heart of who we are stands Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Our deepest desire is to know Him more intimately and to help others enter into that same transforming relationship — not as isolated individuals, but as the called-out people of God, knit together in true koinonia around His living Word and in the power of His Spirit.

We take seriously the Berean example in Acts 17:11, examining the Scriptures daily with eagerness and discernment. We believe the whole counsel of God — from Genesis to Revelation — forms one unified story that reveals the heart of God and our place within His purposes. We seek to connect the dots throughout Scripture, recover the supernatural worldview it presents, and prepare God’s people for the days ahead — not with fear or speculation, but with clarity, hope, and steadfast faith.

We are wholeheartedly committed to the Great Commission. Our passion is to make disciples who know Christ deeply, love His Word passionately, and are being built up together as a people — equipped in the truth, matured in love, and living with joyful readiness for His soon return.

The Blessed Hope of the Church

Five New Testament Rapture Passages and Their Old Testament Foreshadowing

Scott • Berean Preparedness
• 18 min read
“looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”
— TITUS 2:13 (NKJV)

The Bible calls the Rapture our “blessed hope.” It is the joyful promise that Jesus Christ will one day suddenly and personally take His Church out of this world to be with Him forever.

In a time when many believers feel confused or discouraged about the future, this teaching is meant to bring comfort, clarity, and confident hope. The Rapture is not a fringe doctrine. It is central to how we understand both the nature of the Church and God’s plan for the end of the age.

Understanding Ecclesiology

To properly understand the Rapture, we must first understand ecclesiology — the biblical teaching about what the Church really is. The Bible presents two distinct programs: one for Israel (an earthly people with earthly promises) and one for the Church (a heavenly people with a heavenly calling). When we grasp this distinction, the Rapture becomes not only understandable but deeply encouraging.

The approach of this study is simple: read the Scriptures literally, pay careful attention to what the text actually says, and recognize that the Church was a “mystery” — something God kept hidden throughout the Old Testament and later revealed through the Apostle Paul.

The Five Classic New Testament Rapture Passages

1. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 — The Clearest Rapture Passage

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

— 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17 (NKJV)

This is the most detailed description of the Rapture in the New Testament. The Greek word translated “caught up” is harpazō, which means to seize or snatch suddenly. This is a sudden, bodily, and corporate event for all Church-age believers.

Notice where this event takes place: “in the air.” It does not occur on the earth. This stands in clear contrast to the Second Coming, when Christ returns to the earth in judgment.

The purpose of this passage is comfort. Verse 18 says: “Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

2. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 — The Mystery Revealed

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

— 1 CORINTHIANS 15:51-52 (NKJV)

Paul calls this a “mystery” — a truth once hidden but now revealed to the Church. This is not the general resurrection but a special event for believers of the Church age. The transformation will be instantaneous.

3. John 14:1-3 — The Bridegroom’s Personal Promise

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

— JOHN 14:1-3 (NKJV)

This beautiful promise uses 1st-century Jewish wedding imagery. Jesus promises to personally “receive” His people to be with Him. This passage describes movement from earth to heaven, not a return to earth in judgment.

Old Testament Companion: Isaiah 26:19-21

“Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust… Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past.”

— ISAIAH 26:19-20 (NKJV)

This passage powerfully parallels John 14. God calls His people to enter their chambers and hide themselves for “a little moment” until the indignation (wrath) passes — a striking picture of removal before judgment falls.

4. Revelation 3:10 — Kept from the Hour of Trial

“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth.”

— REVELATION 3:10 (NKJV)

The Greek phrase “keep you from” literally means to keep out of the hour, not to protect through it. This points to removal before the time of testing begins.

5. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 — Delivered from the Wrath to Come

“and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

— 1 THESSALONIANS 1:10 (NKJV)

Believers are called to “wait” with eager expectation. The promise is not that we will be protected through wrath, but that we will be delivered from the wrath to come.

The Imminence of the Rapture

One of the strongest distinctives of the pre-tribulational position is imminence — the truth that the Rapture can occur at any moment with no prophesied event required beforehand.

Key Scriptures that support imminence include Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, and Philippians 3:20. Imminence produces holy living, watchfulness, and evangelistic urgency.

How This Hope Should Shape How We Live

The blessed hope is not meant to make us passive. It should transform how we live today:

  • Comfort in grief — “Therefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thess 4:18)
  • Personal holiness — “Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself” (1 John 3:3)
  • Watchfulness — “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” (Matt 24:42)
  • Evangelistic urgency — Knowing the reality of coming judgment should move us to persuade others
  • Freedom from fear — “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7)

Conclusion: Our Blessed Hope

The five New Testament passages, supported by Isaiah 26 and the consistent doctrine of imminence, present a clear and harmonious picture: The Church is promised sudden removal before the wrath of God falls upon the earth.

This is not a doctrine meant to create fear or division. It is meant to comfort grieving hearts, purify our lives, and fill us with joyful expectation.

The most important question is not the timing of the Rapture, but whether you have believed the gospel.

Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.

Will the People Repopulating the Earth During the Millennial Kingdom Need to Be Saved?

An Integrated Study of God’s Prophetic Plan

People in the Millennial Kingdom needing salvation

Dear friends and fellow students of the Word,

As we watch the headlines and sense the nearness of the Lord’s return, many in our little congregation have been asking thoughtful questions about the coming Millennial Kingdom—the thousand-year reign of Christ on this earth. One question stands out for its pastoral and theological weight: During that glorious age, will the people who repopulate the earth need to be saved?

This is no idle curiosity. It touches the very heart of the Gospel, the nature of man, and the absolute necessity of the new birth. In the classic tradition of careful, verse-by-verse study that honors the literal, integrated message system of Scripture, let us examine what the Bible actually says.

The Two Distinct Groups in the Millennial Kingdom

Revelation 20 describes the binding of Satan and the reign of Christ with His saints for a thousand years. But who will inhabit this Kingdom?

Scripture reveals two groups from the very beginning:

  1. Glorified saints in resurrection bodies — These include the Church (caught up at the Rapture, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), Old Testament saints, and Tribulation martyrs (Revelation 20:4-6). They reign with Christ in glorified bodies. As our Lord taught, in the resurrection they “neither marry nor are given in marriage” (Matthew 22:30). These blessed ones are already fully saved and transformed.
  2. Mortal believers in natural bodies — These are the surviving “sheep” from the judgment of the nations (Matthew 25:31-46) and the believing remnant of Israel. At the Second Coming, the Lord will separate the nations. The righteous sheep—those whose faith was evidenced in their treatment of “the least of these my brothers”—will enter the Kingdom in their natural bodies. Unbelievers (the “goats”) will not. All Israel will be saved and turn to their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10; Romans 11:25-27). No unbeliever enters this Kingdom.

These mortal believers will marry, have families, and repopulate the earth. Isaiah’s prophecies of restored creation and long life describe their experience.

The Repopulating Population and the Need for Personal Faith

Here is the key point: While the initial mortal entrants are already believers who survived the Tribulation by faith, their children and subsequent generations—those who truly multiply and repopulate the earth—will be born with the same fallen nature we all share. Salvation is never automatic or inherited by environment, even in a near-perfect age under the personal rule of the King of kings.

Consider these integrated prophecies:

“No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.”

— ISAIAH 65:20 (ESV)

Long life, yes. But still the possibility of sin and judgment. Death itself, though rare and postponed, remains for the unrighteous.

“Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths. And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them.”

— ZECHARIAH 14:16-17 (ESV)

Worship is required. Refusal brings consequences. Choice remains. Obedience is not coerced; it flows from the heart.

Most telling of all is the end of the thousand years:

“And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them…”

— REVELATION 20:7-9 (ESV)

Who are these countless rebels? They are the descendants of the mortal population—the fruit of a thousand years of repopulation. Even with Satan bound, Christ visibly reigning from Jerusalem, perfect justice, unprecedented prosperity, and the earth “full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9), a vast multitude had never been truly born again.

The Integrated Message: Salvation by Grace Through Faith—Always

This should not surprise the careful student of Scripture. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible presents one consistent message: Man is fallen. Salvation comes only by grace through faith in the promised Redeemer, who is Jesus Christ. External conditions—no matter how ideal—cannot regenerate the heart. Only the Holy Spirit can do that.

The Millennial Kingdom will be the most favorable environment for faith in human history. The knowledge of God will be universal. Sin’s worst instigator will be imprisoned. Yet the rebellion at the end proves the stubbornness of the old nature apart from personal regeneration. This age serves as a final demonstration that only the new birth (John 3:3, 7) qualifies one for the eternal Kingdom.

A Pastoral Word for Today

Brothers and sisters, as I sit here in the office, this truth hits close to home. ... Let’s keep teaching this straight from the Book, keep praying for one another, and keep looking up. The Blessed Hope isn’t just future—it carries us through right now.

Test the Spirits — Truth in an Age of Deception

Scott • Berean Preparedness

Church, we are living in an age when deception is not creeping in quietly — it’s marching in boldly. It’s not whispering in the shadows — it’s shouting from platforms, pulpits, and screens.

And the Word of God doesn’t treat this lightly. It warns us with urgency:

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

— 1 JOHN 4:1 (NKJV)

This is not a suggestion. This is a command. Because the stakes are eternal.

1. The Call to Discernment

John ties discernment directly to abiding in Christ:

Obedience leads to abiding, and abiding leads to assurance. But immediately after this assurance, John warns: “Do not believe every spirit.”

Why? Because not every voice that claims to be from God is from God. Not every message that sounds spiritual is Spirit-filled.

Application:

  • Sincerity does not equal truth.
  • Passion does not equal accuracy.
  • A crowd does not equal the Spirit of God.

Discernment means we measure every teaching, every prophecy, every movement — not by how it makes us feel, but by whether it aligns with the Word of God.

2. The Example of the Bereans

The Bereans give us the model:

“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

— ACTS 17:11 (NKJV)

They weren’t skeptics — they were seekers. They received the Word with readiness, but they tested it against the Scriptures.

Discernment is not cynicism. Cynicism closes the Bible. Discernment opens it.

3. The Danger of False Prophets

The story of Ahab and Jehoshaphat in 1 Kings 22 is a vivid warning. Four hundred prophets all said the same thing: “Go up, prosper!” But Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there not still a prophet of the LORD here?”

Then came Micaiah — the lone voice of truth — who said: “As the LORD lives, whatever the LORD says to me, that I will speak.”

Application: The majority is not always right. In matters of truth, the majority is often wrong. Four hundred voices in agreement doesn’t make it truth. One man with the Word of the Lord outweighs four hundred liars.

4. How To Test The Truth: Christ at the Center

John gives us the ultimate test:

“By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.”

— 1 JOHN 4:2-3 (NKJV)

The dividing line is always Jesus. What are you going to do with Jesus Christ?

Any teaching that reduces Jesus to a mere prophet, a moral teacher, or a spiritual example is false. The true Spirit of God always magnifies Christ — His glory, His grace, His truth.

Bringing It Home: Discernment in Our Day

This Word is not just about ancient false prophets. It’s about right now.

We are surrounded by voices — on our phones, in our feeds, on our TVs. Everyone has a platform. And many of those voices are dressed in spiritual language but are not speaking the truth of God.

  • When you scroll through your feed — test the spirits.
  • When you hear a preacher on TV — test the spirits.
  • When a friend shares a “new revelation” — test the spirits.
  • When culture tells you to redefine Jesus — test the spirits.

Deception today doesn’t always come with horns and a pitchfork. It comes with a smile, a hashtag, and a Bible verse ripped out of context.

Conclusion: A Call to Berean Christianity

Church, this is not the hour for passive Christianity. This is the hour for Berean Christianity.

  • Test the spirits.
  • Search the Scriptures daily.
  • Stand for truth, even if you stand alone.

Because in the end, deception will fall, but truth will stand. And the Spirit of God in you is greater than he who is in the world.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit.” That’s not just a warning — it’s a lifeline.

Daniel’s Seventy Weeks: God’s Precise Timeline for Israel and the Messiah

Daniel’s Seventy Weeks prophecy

What if God gave a prophecy so precise that it predicted the exact day the Messiah would present Himself as King — over five hundred years in advance? In Daniel 9, that is exactly what He did.

While Daniel was praying about the end of Israel’s seventy years of Babylonian captivity, the angel Gabriel appeared with an answer that went far beyond what Daniel expected. God was not only going to bring the exile to an end — He was revealing His complete 490-year plan for Israel and Jerusalem. This prophecy, known as the Seventy Weeks, stands as one of the most remarkable demonstrations of God’s sovereign control over history.

The Seventy Weeks Decreed

In Daniel 9:24, Gabriel announces:

“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.”

— DANIEL 9:24 (NKJV)

The phrase “seventy weeks” translates the Hebrew shabu’im shib’im, meaning “seventy sevens.” These are not weeks of days but weeks of years, totaling 490 years. God has sovereignly marked out this period to accomplish six great purposes for Israel and Jerusalem:

  1. To finish the transgression — This speaks of bringing Israel’s long history of rebellion against God to its complete end. While the cross dealt with the root of sin, the national fulfillment of this purpose awaits the future day when Israel will look on the One they pierced and mourn in repentance (Zechariah 12:10; Romans 11:25-27).
  2. To put an end to sin — This looks forward to the day when sin’s power and presence will be fully restrained on the earth. Though believers are freed from sin’s dominion through Christ, the complete removal of sin from the world awaits Christ’s return and the establishment of His Kingdom.
  3. To atone for iniquity — This was gloriously accomplished at the cross, where Jesus made full and final payment for sin. As Hebrews 9:26 states, He appeared “once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”
  4. To bring in everlasting righteousness — This will be visibly manifested during the Millennial Kingdom and the eternal state, when righteousness will dwell on the earth without opposition.
  5. To seal both vision and prophet — This means that every prophecy will be completely fulfilled and confirmed. Nothing will be left unfinished. All that the prophets spoke will find its ultimate realization in Christ.
  6. To anoint a most holy place — This points to the future anointing of the Millennial Temple, when God’s glory will once again dwell in Jerusalem during Christ’s thousand-year reign (Ezekiel 40–48).

These six purposes reveal both the depth of humanity’s problem with sin and the glory of God’s redemptive and restorative plan.

The Starting Point and the 69 Weeks

Gabriel then gives the starting point of this timeline: the decree to “restore and build Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:25). This refers to the decree recorded in Nehemiah 2:1-8, issued by Artaxerxes Longimanus in 444 BC.

From that decree until “the coming of an anointed one, a prince” (Mashiach Nagid) there would be 69 weeks — 483 prophetic years. Using the 360-day prophetic year found throughout Scripture, this equals 173,880 days.

The timeline we follow comes from the work of Dr. Harold Hoehner, who built upon Sir Robert Anderson’s foundational research. Hoehner applied “accession-year reckoning” — the same method used earlier in Daniel with Nebuchadnezzar — which places the starting point in 444 BC and the conclusion on March 30, 33 AD, the time of the Triumphal Entry.

On that very day, Jesus approached Jerusalem and wept over the city. He said the people had not recognized “the time of your visitation” (Luke 19:41-44). This was Jesus essentially saying, “You should have known.” The prophecy in Daniel 9 was clear, the timeline was exact, and the signs were present. It was both a divine warning and a tragic statement that they had missed the day of their visitation.

Note: For a detailed breakdown of the day-for-year calculation and the 173,880-day timeline, see our Calculations & Timeline page.

Messiah Cut Off and the Gap

Daniel 9:26 reveals that after the 69 weeks, the Messiah would be “cut off.” This was fulfilled at the crucifixion. The verse also predicts that “the people of the prince who is to come” would destroy the city and sanctuary — fulfilled in 70 AD by the Romans under Titus. Prophetically, it also points to the future Antichrist.

This event marks the beginning of the great gap in God’s program for Israel — the Church Age. The seventy weeks were specifically decreed for “your people and your holy city.” During this parenthesis, God has been calling out the Church (ekklesia) from every nation (Ephesians 3:1-13; Romans 11:25).

From a pre-tribulational perspective, this gap will close when the Church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). The Rapture will remove believers from the earth before the 70th week begins, allowing God to resume His prophetic program with Israel during the seven-year Tribulation.

The 70th Week

It is important to remember that this entire prophecy was given specifically to Daniel and his people — Israel — and concerning his holy city, Jerusalem. Gabriel made this clear from the very beginning when he said the seventy weeks were decreed “about your people and your holy city” (Daniel 9:24).

Therefore, the final week — the 70th week — is also primarily about Israel and Jerusalem. While the Church is blessed to be grafted into the blessings of the Abrahamic covenant, the specific program and timeline revealed in Daniel 9 belongs to God’s chosen nation. This is why the Church, which is distinct from Israel, will be removed from the earth before this final seven-year period begins.

During the 70th week, the coming prince (the Antichrist) will make a strong covenant with many for one week. In the middle of that week, he will break the covenant, stop the sacrifices, and set up the “abomination that makes desolate” — the same event Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:15. This period, often called the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), will be marked by intense judgment until God pours out His wrath upon the desolator at Christ’s return (Revelation 19:11-21).

In a future teaching, we will explore the events of this final seven-year period in greater detail.

Living in the Gap

We are living in the gap between the 69th and 70th week. This is the Church Age — a time of grace in which God is building His Church and the Gospel is going forth to the nations. Because of the pre-tribulational Rapture, the Church will not experience the wrath of the Tribulation period. Instead, we are called to live with holy expectation, watching for the Blessed Hope — the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13).

This prophecy strengthens our faith in the accuracy of Scripture, stirs us to pray for Israel, and motivates us to share the Gospel while there is still time. The same Jesus who fulfilled the first 69 weeks with perfect precision will one day return to complete the rest.

Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Daniel’s Seventy Weeks: The Calculations & Timeline

Understanding the 173,880-day prophecy from Artaxerxes to the Triumphal Entry

One of the most remarkable features of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks prophecy is its mathematical precision. When properly understood, it points to a specific day in history — the day Jesus presented Himself as King in Jerusalem.

1. The Prophetic Year: 360 Days

Throughout Scripture, a prophetic “year” is consistently calculated as 360 days, not 365. This is seen in several places:

  • Genesis 7–8 (the Flood): 5 months = 150 days → 30 days per month
  • Revelation 11:2-3 and 12:6: 42 months = 1,260 days
  • Revelation 13:5: 42 months of the Antichrist’s authority

This 360-day year was also the standard in ancient Babylonian and Persian calendars during Daniel’s time.

2. The Starting Point: Artaxerxes’ Decree (444 BC)

Daniel 9:25 says the clock starts with “the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem.”

This command was given by King Artaxerxes Longimanus to Nehemiah in the month of Nisan (March/April), 444 BC (Nehemiah 2:1-8). This is the only decree in Scripture that specifically authorizes the rebuilding of the city itself (not just the temple).

3. The Math: 69 Weeks = 173,880 Days

From the decree until the coming of “Messiah the Prince” there would be 69 weeks.

69 weeks × 7 years per week = 483 years

483 years × 360 days per prophetic year = 173,880 days

This is not symbolic — it is a literal timeline God gave through the angel Gabriel.

4. The Ending Date: March 30, 33 AD

When we count forward 173,880 days from the Artaxerxes decree in 444 BC, using the historical method of “accession-year reckoning” (the same method Daniel used with Nebuchadnezzar), we arrive at March 30, 33 AD.

This was the day of the Triumphal Entry — when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and was openly presented as King (Luke 19:28-44). On that very day He said the people should have recognized “the time of your visitation.”

This is one of the most stunning fulfillments of prophecy in all of Scripture. God gave the exact day of the Messiah’s presentation as King over 500 years in advance.

Why These Details Matter

Some critics try to dismiss this prophecy by using different starting dates or calendar systems. However, the work of Sir Robert Anderson and later refined by Dr. Harold Hoehner has withstood careful scrutiny. When the biblical 360-day year and the correct historical starting point are used, the timeline lands precisely on the Triumphal Entry.

This is not guesswork. It is evidence that the Bible is supernaturally inspired and that God sovereignly controls history down to the very day.

“The precision of this prophecy should strengthen our faith and increase our sense of urgency to proclaim the Gospel while there is still time.”

ISRAEL • REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY June 2026

Replacement Theology and the Faithfulness of God

A Biblical Examination of Romans 9–11 and the Distinction Between Israel and the Church

The Strategic Deception

One of the most serious doctrinal errors affecting the Church in these last days is Replacement Theology — the teaching that God has permanently replaced national Israel with the Church and transferred all her covenants and promises exclusively to believers in Christ.

This is not a minor theological disagreement. It represents a fundamental shift in how Scripture is interpreted. Replacement Theology requires moving away from a literal, grammatical, historical reading of the Bible toward an allegorical or spiritualized approach, especially when dealing with Israel and prophecy.

Jesus gave a clear warning at the beginning of His teaching on the last days:

“Take heed that no one deceives you.”

— MATTHEW 24:4 (NKJV)

Replacement Theology is one of the primary deceptions the enemy is using to confuse and disarm the Church in this hour.

Romans 9–11: Paul’s Clear Teaching on Israel

The Apostle Paul devotes three full chapters in Romans to the subject of Israel. He addresses her past, present, and future with remarkable clarity.

Romans 9 – Israel’s Past
Paul begins with deep sorrow for his fellow Israelites and lists the extraordinary privileges God gave them: adoption, glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, the promises, and the Messiah according to the flesh. He defends God’s sovereign right to choose while making it clear that God has preserved a believing remnant throughout history.

Romans 10 – Israel’s Present Condition
Paul explains that Israel’s current unbelief centers on rejecting Christ as the righteousness of God. He shows that salvation is available to both Jew and Gentile through faith in Jesus.

Romans 11 – Israel’s Future Restoration
This chapter is the strongest biblical argument against Replacement Theology. Paul asks:

“I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not!”

— ROMANS 11:1 (NKJV)

He then gives several powerful proofs:

  • The Remnant Argument: Just as God preserved a remnant in Elijah’s day, He has preserved a remnant according to grace.
  • The Grafting Illustration: Gentile believers have been grafted into the olive tree, but Paul warns them not to become arrogant toward the natural branches (Israel). God is able to graft the natural branches back in again.
  • The Mystery Revealed: Paul reveals that “blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.” This clearly points to a future national restoration of Israel.
  • The Irrevocable Nature of God’s Calling: Paul concludes with one of the strongest statements in Scripture:

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

— ROMANS 11:29 (NKJV)

The Greek word ametamelētos means “not to be regretted” or “without recall.” God does not go back on His covenant commitments to Israel.

The Distinction Between Israel and the Church

A central issue is the biblical distinction between Israel and the Church (ekklesia).

  • Israel is an earthly people with earthly promises — including the land, a future kingdom, and national restoration.
  • The Church is a heavenly people called to a heavenly inheritance as the Body and Bride of Christ.

The Church was a mystery hidden in the Old Testament and first revealed through the Apostle Paul (Ephesians 3:1-6). If the Church had simply replaced Israel, this would not have been a mystery.

Prophetic Confirmation: What the Prophets Say About Israel’s Future

Replacement Theology also struggles to explain the many Old Testament prophecies that speak of a future for national Israel. Here are three key examples made clear:

Joel 3:2 – Judgment for Dividing the Land
God declares He will judge the nations because they have scattered His people and divided His land. This prophecy only makes sense if God still regards Israel as His covenant people.

Zechariah 12:2-3, 10 – Jerusalem at the Center
Zechariah describes Jerusalem becoming a source of conflict for all nations — “a very heavy stone” that injures those who try to move it. He also prophesies that the people of Israel will one day look upon the One they pierced and mourn. This points to a future national turning to Jesus as Messiah.

Ezekiel 36–37 – The Regathering and Restoration of Israel
These chapters describe both the physical return of the Jewish people to their land and a future spiritual awakening. Much of the physical regathering has already taken place, while the full spiritual restoration remains future.

These prophecies have not been fulfilled by the Church. They await fulfillment with national Israel.

Practical Implications for the Church Today

Because the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable, believers today are called to respond in several important ways:

  • Reject Replacement Theology as a serious doctrinal error that distorts Scripture and weakens the Church’s understanding of prophecy.
  • Maintain a clear distinction between Israel and the Church in teaching and preaching.
  • Stand with Israel biblically — praying for the peace of Jerusalem, opposing anti-Semitism, and rejecting efforts to divide the land God has given to His people.
  • Live with prophetic awareness, recognizing that current events in the Middle East are connected to ancient prophecies moving toward fulfillment.

How Spiritual Warfare Is Targeting Our Children Through Digital Gaming Platforms

Teenager at a gaming PC in a dark room facing spiritual darkness, with dramatic golden light breaking through — symbolizing the battle for the next generation

Featured image — spiritual warfare over the next generation in digital spaces

In recent months, senior counter-terrorism officials in both the United Kingdom and the United States have issued urgent warnings about the grooming and exploitation of children through online gaming platforms and chat services.

In the UK, children now account for approximately 20% of all terrorism-related arrests — a fourfold increase from roughly 5% a decade ago. In one recent period, 40 children were arrested for terrorism-related offences. Children as young as eight and ten have been referred to the Prevent programme after being groomed in these digital spaces. In the year ending March 2025, there were 8,778 referrals to Prevent, with children aged 11–15 representing the largest single group at 36%.

In the United States, the FBI has issued multiple open letters to parents across several states warning about violent online networks, including the group known as 764, that specifically target minors on gaming platforms. These networks use voice chat and private servers to build trust with children before coercing them into self-harm, producing child sexual abuse material, or engaging in acts of violence.

These are not isolated criminal activities. They reflect a coordinated spiritual assault on the next generation.

The Prophetic Convergence

Scripture has long warned that the last days would be marked by increasing deception and targeted attacks on the vulnerable. Jesus said:

“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

— MATTHEW 24:24 (ESV)

Paul described a coming “strong delusion” that would cause people to believe what is false (2 Thessalonians 2:11). What we are witnessing today is the convergence of these biblical warnings with modern technology. The same platforms our children use for entertainment have become highly effective tools for grooming, ideological manipulation, and spiritual deception.

Networks operating with satanic branding are not simply using edgy imagery — they are tapping into real spiritual rebellion. The acceleration of these attacks on children is consistent with the biblical pattern of the enemy intensifying his efforts as his time grows short (Revelation 12:12).

The Unseen Battle Behind the Screens

Behind these networks lies a real spiritual war. Peter writes:

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

— 1 PETER 5:8 (ESV)

Paul reminds us:

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

— EPHESIANS 6:12 (ESV)

The grooming tactics, psychological coercion, and ideological capture happening in gaming spaces are modern expressions of the same ancient enemy who has always sought to corrupt and destroy humanity — especially the young.

These networks do not appear out of nowhere. They operate by exploiting the very design of digital environments: anonymity, constant availability, voice chat that feels personal, and private servers where adults can hide among children. Members build rapport through shared gameplay, then slowly introduce darker themes, normalizing self-harm, sexual exploitation, and violence as “just a game” or a test of loyalty. Groups like 764 even compete among themselves to see who can push victims the furthest — a chilling echo of the spiritual powers that delight in destruction and degradation.

This is not random evil. It is strategic. The enemy knows that if he can capture the hearts and minds of children during their most formative years, he can shape entire generations. He uses digital spaces to isolate them from family and church, to distort their God-given identity, and to replace truth with powerful lies. This is the roaring lion at work — not metaphorically, but actively prowling through the very devices we place in our children’s hands.

Practical Steps for Parents

As parents and guardians, we are not powerless. Here are several practical steps you can take right now to protect your children:

  1. Know Their Digital World — Ask your children which games they play and which platforms they use. Play with them occasionally so you understand the environment.
  2. Use Built-in Parental Controls — Enable chat restrictions, friend-request approvals, and time limits on every platform.
  3. Keep Devices in Common Areas — Gaming setups in family spaces reduce secrecy and make supervision natural.
  4. Maintain Open Conversations — Create a safe space for your children to tell you if anything online feels uncomfortable.
  5. Monitor Friend Lists and Voice Chat — Review contacts regularly and teach them never to engage privately with strangers.
  6. Set Clear Boundaries — Establish reasonable screen-time rules and use device tools to enforce them.
  7. Pray Specifically — Cover their online interactions in prayer daily.
  8. Watch for Warning Signs — Sudden secrecy, new “friends,” behavioral changes, or dark interests should prompt immediate attention.

A Pastoral Call to the Church

This is not a distant news story. It is happening in homes and families connected to our churches. The enemy is using the tools our children love to isolate them. Churches must equip families with truth and practical discernment. We cannot afford to be passive.

Standing in Hope

Even in the face of these realities, we do not fight in despair. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has already conquered:

“Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered…”

— REVELATION 5:5 (ESV)

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us. The enemy is intensifying his efforts because he knows his time is short. Our calling is to be sober, vigilant, and equipped — guarding the next generation, praying, teaching, and standing firm.

Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.

The Strong Delusion & The Doctrine of Demons in the Last Days

Age of Disclosure — UAP, AI deception, and the strong delusion in the last days

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.

— 1 TIMOTHY 4:1 (ESV)

The Bible is clear that deception in the last days will not be merely human. It will be energized by deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. We are living in days when both technology and unexplained phenomena are advancing in ways that deserve careful biblical attention.

UAP, UFOs, and the Growing Phenomenon of Deception

In recent months, the U.S. government has continued releasing previously classified files related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), also commonly called UFOs. The most recent tranche, released on June 12, 2026, included new videos and eyewitness reports of unusual objects.

Among the materials were descriptions of luminous orbs, including reports of a brilliant red spherical object observed hovering low in a backyard. Witnesses described a second similar orb appearing, with the two objects moving together before appearing to merge and then vanish. Another video showed a plasma-like luminous sphere hovering over a pond, intermittently changing shape and brightness, at times separating into smaller luminous points before disappearing after remaining stationary for approximately 45 minutes.

These recent releases are part of an ongoing process of declassification. While many of these objects remain unexplained, they add to a growing body of reports involving objects that demonstrate unusual flight characteristics and behaviors that are difficult to dismiss.

L.A. Marzulli has long taught that UFO phenomena should not be viewed merely as physical craft from distant planets, but as part of a larger spiritual deception. He connects these sightings to the biblical warnings of end-times delusion, noting that such phenomena have the potential to draw people away from the truth of Scripture.

As believers, we do not need to speculate wildly about every sighting. However, we should recognize that unexplained aerial phenomena are increasing and that Scripture warns us to be discerning about anything that could lead people to believe a lie rather than the truth.

The Strong Delusion

The Apostle Paul gives us further detail in his second letter to the Thessalonians:

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

— 2 THESSALONIANS 2:9–12 (ESV)

This “strong delusion” is not random. It comes upon those who have refused to love the truth. God, in His righteous judgment, gives them over to believe the lie. We know that God will send this delusion, so we are not saying this is already happening. Rather, the question for every believer is simple: Are we helping to cultivate the delusion, or are we cultivating a genuine love for the truth of God’s Word?

Technology and the Scaffolding of Deception

We are witnessing the rapid development of tools that can generate photorealistic video, clone voices with near-perfect accuracy, and create interactive digital avatars that look and speak like real human beings. These advancements are not inherently evil, but they provide the technological infrastructure that could be used to spread deception on a global scale.

As Chuck Missler often observed, many prophetic passages in Scripture require a level of technology that has only become available in our generation. The increase of knowledge described in Daniel 12:4 is happening before our eyes.

Michael Heiser, in The Unseen Realm, reminds us that the biblical worldview includes real spiritual beings who influence human affairs. The Bible does not present a material-only universe. Behind the scenes of human history stands a spiritual conflict. Technology can become a tool in that conflict when it is used to blur the line between truth and falsehood.

L.A. Marzulli has long warned that phenomena such as UFOs and the coming “alien” narrative may be part of the great end-times deception. When combined with the power of artificial intelligence to create convincing synthetic evidence and interactive experiences, the potential for mass deception grows significantly.

The Image That Speaks

Revelation 13 describes an image of the beast that is given breath and the ability to speak, demanding worship. For most of church history, this seemed difficult to imagine. Today, the technology to create speaking, interactive digital representations exists and is rapidly improving. What Scripture describes as a future reality is now within the realm of technical possibility.

This does not mean we can set dates or identify specific fulfillments. It does mean we should take seriously the biblical warnings and walk in discernment.

Our Response

The answer Scripture gives is consistent:

  • Love the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10)
  • Stand fast and hold to the Word of God (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
  • Test all things and hold fast what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
  • Fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith

The strong delusion is coming upon those who refuse the truth. For those who love the Lord Jesus and His Word, we have this promise:

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

— 2 THESSALONIANS 2:13 (ESV)

May we be found loving the truth, standing firm in the faith, and proclaiming the gospel while there is still time.

Noah's Ark: The Original Preparedness Plan – Lessons for Today's Believers

Noah's Ark - The Original Preparedness Plan

In a world increasingly marked by uncertainty—rising costs, supply disruptions, storms, and prophetic signs—we are reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:37-39 (NKJV):

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

The people in Noah’s day were unprepared. They ignored the warnings and continued life as usual. But Noah? He listened, obeyed, and prepared. His story is not just ancient history—it is a powerful model for biblical preparedness in our time.

The Biblical Call to Prepare

God does not call us to live in fear or isolation. He calls us to faithful stewardship, much like the hardworking generations before us who lived through the Great Depression and provided for their families with wisdom and grit.

Consider these clear principles from Scripture:

  • Proverbs 6:6-8 — “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.” The ant prepares steadily. Our grandparents and great-grandparents often did the same—canning produce from the garden, mending what was worn, and setting aside what they could.
  • Proverbs 22:3 — “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.”
  • Proverbs 21:20 — “There is desirable treasure, and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.”

Preparation is prudent wisdom, not a lack of faith. Noah and Joseph stand as towering examples. Joseph, warned in a dream, stored grain for seven years of famine and saved nations (Genesis 41). Noah went further.

Noah: The Model of Steady Obedience

In Genesis 6, God saw the corruption and violence filling the earth. He warned Noah and gave him specific instructions:

“Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch... You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal... and food for you and for them.” (Genesis 6:14, 19, 21 NKJV, adapted)

Noah worked steadily for 120 years, building, gathering, and storing—all while preaching repentance. Hebrews 11:7 tells us:

“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”

Key Lessons from Noah’s Example (and the wisdom of past generations)

  1. Obedience to God’s Leading — Noah followed the Lord’s blueprint exactly. Today, that means prayerfully doing what we can with what we have—tending a garden, learning to preserve food, keeping a full pantry, and maintaining what God has given us.
  2. Steady, Long-Term Effort — Just like folks who came through the Depression or tough seasons, they didn’t wait for crisis. They worked consistently: saving scraps, growing what they could, fixing things instead of replacing them, and teaching the next generation.
  3. Provision for Family and Others — The ark saved Noah’s household and preserved life for the future. Biblical preparedness equips us to care for our own and help neighbors and the body of Christ (ekklesia) when times get hard (Galatians 5:14).
  4. Spiritual Readiness First — Noah walked with God (Genesis 6:9). Physical efforts mean little without a heart anchored in the Lord. Prayer, Scripture, and fellowship keep us grounded.

Connecting to Our Prophetic Moment

As we study passages like Ezekiel 38-39, we see nations aligning and signs increasing. Just as God warned Noah before judgment, He gives us time to watch and prepare our hearts and homes. This isn’t panic—it’s the quiet resilience of faith in action, much like earlier generations who trusted God while working with their hands.

Practical Steps: Small-Town, Everyday Wisdom

In small towns and rural areas, we have advantages our grandparents used well: access to land, community knowledge, and the ability to stretch every dollar. Here are solid, budget-friendly ways to build preparedness steadily:

  • Food Storage & Gardening: Start a simple garden—even in raised beds or containers using seeds saved from last year’s harvest. Focus on high-yield, storable crops like potatoes, beans, squash, and greens. Can or dehydrate extras in season when prices are lowest at local markets or your own patch. Keep a rotating pantry of basics (rice, beans, oats, flour, salt, sugar) bought in bulk during sales. Aim to add one extra week’s worth of food each month—your grandparents called this “laying by.”
  • Water & Basics: Store clean water in food-grade containers (reuse cleaned 2-liter bottles or 5-gallon jugs affordably). Learn simple purification methods like boiling or using unscented bleach (a few drops per gallon). Collect rainwater if you have barrels—common sense in farm country.
  • Resourcefulness & Repair: Adopt the “use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without” mindset. Maintain vehicles, tools, and appliances with regular care to avoid big repair bills. Learn basic skills through local extension offices, older neighbors, or library books: sewing patches, sharpening tools, or simple plumbing/electrical fixes. Shop thrift stores, auctions, and yard sales for durable clothing, blankets, and household goods.
  • Energy & Heating: Stock up on firewood or propane when prices dip. A good wood stove or efficient heater (maintained well) goes far in winter. Solar lanterns or hand-crank radios are low-cost backups. In summer, focus on shade, fans, and preserving food quickly.
  • Community & Skills Sharing: Trade labor or garden surplus with neighbors. Host simple skill-sharing nights at church—canning demos, gardening tips, or first aid basics. Build a loose “mutual aid” mindset in the fellowship so no one faces hardship alone. Check local farm co-ops or bulk buying clubs for better prices on staples.
  • Financial Prudence: Live below your means. Pay down debt where possible and keep a small cash reserve (in small bills) for when banks or cards are unavailable. This mirrors the careful economy of past generations.

These steps don’t require big spending or fancy gear—just consistent, prayerful effort using what God has placed around us in our small-town setting.

A Call to Action

Friends, the door to the ark stood open for years. One day it closed. Jesus warns us to be ready, “for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44).

Let us prepare like Noah—by faith, with steady hands and humble hearts, following the example of those who endured hard seasons before us. May our readiness point others to the ultimate Ark of safety: Jesus Christ.

If you are feeling led to grow in this area, talk with a brother or sister in the fellowship. We prepare together as the people of God.
